I have a little "it's my birthday" song I made up YEARS ago that I start singing about two weeks prior. No one I know ever forgets my birthday. I think if there was a reason we couldn't be happy on my birthday, I would definitely celebrate on another day. I hope you start to do that, pick a weekend before or after and celebrate!
